Q8 Toastmasters Club objective is to develop leadership abilities and communication skills to individuals in addition to the development of self-confidence and the ability to manage meetings and conferences. The objective of the Club is met through networking, learning the art of talking, listening, and critical thinking skills which help develop a sense of self-fulfillment, development of leadership abilities, and facilitate understanding between people that will eventually lead to improvement of life among mankind.
Q8 Toastmasters Club carries its activities in an enjoyable and proven methods to practice and hone communication and leadership skills. Most Toastmasters meetings are comprised of members who meet weekly for an hour or two. Participants practice and learn skills by filling a meeting role, ranging from giving a prepared speech or an impromptu one to serving as timer, evaluator or grammarian. There is no instructor; instead, each speech and meeting is critiqued by a member in a positive manner, focusing on what was done right and what could be improved. Good communicators tend to be good leaders
Q8 Toastmasters Club, which is part of Kuwait Economic Society (KES) activities, seeks no profit and funding for its operation comes from membership small fees, KES support, and donations from individuals and institutions. Founding meeting was held at KES premises and six members for the Board of Directors were elected. Members of the Board of Directors are:

Furthermore, it was agreed that meetings will be held twice a month. The first meeting was held on Sunday, June 3, 2007, launching the first cultural and training activity and was attended by about 25 people. Since that time the Club has continued holding its meetings periodically under regulatory frameworks that have been developed by Toastmasters International
