Membership |

|
Membership in the Kuwaiti Economic Society (KES) is in accordance with the following rules: 
Participatory Member: is granted to Kuwaiti national who possesses one of the following conditions:
- Bachelor degree or its equivalent in economics or business field.
- Doctoral and Master's degrees where the focus or dissertation is on economy or trade.
- University degree holder who is engaged in economic and trade matters for a period of not less than five years in public or private sector, or any other institutions working in the realm of economic or commerce.
Hononary Member: The Board of Directors grants this membership to prominent Kuwaiti figures who provide moral and material support to KES and enjoys full membership status. In addition, the Board of Directors after taking the approval of the General Assembly nominates Honorary Chairman to the Board who has the right to attend meetings of the Governing Council. Honorary Chairman or members are exempted from subscription and enrollment fees.
Associate Member: is granted to individuals who do not fulfill the participatory membership requirements and are interested in joining KES. Associate members enjoy participation in KES committees and activities without having any right to participate in management.
Institutional Member: is granted to companies, institutions and organizations working in the field of development, investment and trade to strengthen KES-Private partnership relation and contributes financially to KES operation.
Require in all types of membership to be member-governed in a crime against the honor and trust unless he has been rehabilitated in mind, and agree to the Assembly and not below the age of 18 years at the request of members of non-legal
Termination of Membership:
The membership of any member of the society is considered annulled for any of the sub-mentioned reasons:
- Member’s death.
- Member’s resignation.
- When it becomes manifest to the Board of Directors that the member does not comply with the laws and the statutes of the society, or for any behavior deemed detrimental or prejudicial to the Foundation’s objectives.
