Kuwait Economic Society held an event entitled “Strategic Risk Management: Navigating the Global Financial Crisis”
Kuwait Economic Society a founding member of the MENA Businesswomen’s Network, hosted an event entitled , “Strategic Risk Management: Navigating the Global Financial Crisis” with the cooperation of Vital Voice, MEPI, MENA Businesswomen, Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement.

The event took place at Kuwait Chamber of Commerce from 19 to 20 of November 2008 and it featured two prominent businesswomen from the U.S. and two members from the KES, who participate in panel discussions entitled “Leadership and Risk Management” on 19th of November. On 20 November, A. Christine Eppstein, Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability led a workshop entitled “Using Corporate Responsibility to Manage Reputation Risk”
Also, Rochelle M. Costrell, Associate Director, Garrison Financial Institute, Walton College of Business led an interactive workshops focused on “Risk Measurement and Management”. The two day event also featured prominent Kuwaiti business people and was an opportunity for networking and information exchange around the critical issue of risk management.
